Add some extra drama to your Winter look with a perfectly applied smoky eye. And you can ditch the neutrals for an extra pop of color by adding vibrant jewel-colored greens, purples, or golds for extra Holiday glamour. When applying, think about:
- Apply other makeup first, which will help from over-application of shadow. Prime lids before starting, allowing them to dry before beginning.
- Stick with a winged eyeliner application, but mimic the line with your shadow, creating a more prominent look. Work your shadow from the crease of your eye to the end of the brows and then curve the end back and around to line the lower lashes.
- Don't be afraid to go below the eye for a serious smoky look. Use waterproof products to avoid smudging and apply with an angled brush for clean application without clumping.
- Add a pop of color by blending one hue just above the crease of the eye. Make it more dramatic by adding a spot of highlighter just under the arch and at the inside corner of each eye.
