Got an enormous stash of old t-shirts you’ve been hanging on to for what seems like eons? Take those shirts that document years of life for you and your family and turn them into a quilt full of memories. Pick out 40-50 shirts (depending on how big you want the quilt to be) and cut the fronts into uniform-sized squares. Sew those together in a grid pattern, along with a layer of quilt batting and the backing material. Once it’s all together, be sure to stitch each individual square to avoid all the batting getting bunched up. Then be prepared to do a LOT of dreaming about the past.
