So Sweet: Melted-Chocolate-Topped Brownies
Not only are these brownies seriously delicious and moist, they are so easy to make. And the melted chocolate topping takes them to a whole new level.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Dutch-process cocoa
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350˚F.
- Mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth.
- Add the cocoa, flour and baking soda, stirring until there are no lumps in the batter.
- Line an eight-by-eight-inch baking pan with parchment paper and add the brownie batter, using a knife to evenly distribute.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes and then remove from the oven. While the brownies are still hot, sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
- Use a knife to smooth and spread the melted chocolate chips over the top of the brownies. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Makes nine brownies.
