So Sweet: Melted-Chocolate-Topped Brownies

Not only are these brownies seriously delicious and moist, they are so easy to make. And the melted chocolate topping takes them to a whole new level.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Dutch-process cocoa
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F.
  2. Mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Add the eggs and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add the cocoa, flour and baking soda, stirring until there are no lumps in the batter.
  4. Line an eight-by-eight-inch baking pan with parchment paper and add the brownie batter, using a knife to evenly distribute.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes and then remove from the oven. While the brownies are still hot, sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
  6. Use a knife to smooth and spread the melted chocolate chips over the top of the brownies. Serve warm or at room temperature.
