When there are no birthdays, holidays, or any other days dedicated to something else, take time to celebrate someone important in your life – you! Here are some simple ways to schedule an appointment with yourself.
- Refresh your style. If you are stuck in a rut with your style, simply switch the part in your hair. Try a pair of bright, sassy shoes. Switch out your purse. Making small changes can yield big results.
- Set aside some time to tackle the task that’s been daunting you for days. Maybe it’s cleaning out your closet, getting your car washed, or organizing your kitchen cabinets. Whatever it is, make it happen, then sit back and relax with a Diet Pepsi when it’s done!
- Switch up your routine. Take a different route on your drive home or connect wirelessly at your local coffee shop instead of the couch. A change of scenery can create a path to somewhere new.
