If you want amazing scents at your sink, why not make your own soap? Combining a melt and-pour base with your favorite fragrance is quick and easy. Here's a recipe for soothing oatmeal honey soap that smells irresistible!
Step 1: Head to a craft store for a block of glycerin melt-and-pour base. You should also buy molds in the shape you want your soap to be, such as stars, hearts, or snowflakes. You can use muffin tins or candy molds, too.
Step 2: Cut the base into smaller chunks and place them in a glass bowl; microwave until melted, checking and stirring about every 20 seconds.
Step 3: Stir in the honey, oats, and chosen fragrances and colors, and then pour the mixture into your soap molds. Prevent air bubbles by spritzing the top layer with rubbing alcohol.
Step 4: Relax and enjoy a Diet Pepsi while your homemade soap hardens overnight!
