Set up a make-your-own nacho bar before your favorite NFL or NCAA football team plays, and you can enjoy the action on the field instead of cooking in the kitchen.
Before the game starts:
- Grill up some chicken, cook ground beef or turkey with taco seasonings, and sauté a variety of peppers, onions and garlic together for a vegetarian option.
- Each main ingredient can be kept warm in its own crock-pot, in a heat-proof bowl on a warming pad, or on the stove.
- Homemade queso dip, guacamole and salsas are also easy to prepare ahead of time.
- When your guests arrive, set out all hot ingredients, tortilla chips and some tasty toppings – shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives, black beans, jalapeños, shredded cheese, cilantro, hot sauce and more goodies.
