This year, try dressing up your dinner table or party spreads with some easy Halloween decorating tips.
- Spooky candlesticks – Add the look of spider webs by layering some tattered cheesecloth over candlesticks, or use wine bottles as candle holders to create a memorable centerpiece.
- Ghostly luminaries – Instead of paper bag luminaries, try wrapping mason jars with cheesecloth and stick on a pair of googly eyes for a ghostly option. Use adhesive or spray starch to keep the cloth in place.
- Pumpkin punch bowls – Scoop out all the insides of a large pumpkin, and place a large mixing bowl inside the pumpkin.
- Frightening chillers – Chill down your punch by filling a rubber glove with water or punch, twist it closed, and put it in the freezer. Once it's frozen solid, cut the glove off the ice and place it in a punch bowl to give your punch the chills! Be sure to rinse out the rubber glove several times before using.
