Mother’s Day is a time to show the women who gave birth to us our appreciation for everything they do. Even the world’s most famous musicians can relate to that special bond between mother and child--and for some the ties that bind are more official than others. The entertainment industry has a long history of moms who had a hand in the business of their babies. In honor of Mother’s Day this weekend, we pay tribute to the best “momagers” in the biz. Happy Momager’s--ahem, Mother’s Day!

Though Brit and Lynne eventually split professionally, she was definitely the biggest player who orchestrated the beginning of it all.
