• Who’s on Tour in Europe: October 2013

Looking to make some memories? There’s nothing like experiencing a live performance by one of the biggest stars in the world with thousands of other people. When musicians sell out arena tours it means they’ve reached a level in their career that the entire world cares about. There are some incredible musicians touring the world right now. These are the ones that people will remember. When you see a teenager two decades from now wearing the very same tee shirt you bought at the show—it’s become vintage by then—you’ll look back and be able to say, “I was there.” With 2013 coming to an end it's time to think about the music events that you want to close out your year with. Europe's got some major concerts coming up, including an up-and-coming rapper whose first two singles reached No. 1 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Chart, an English indie rock band whose debut album became the fastest-selling in British music history, the return of a ‘60s classic and many more.
  • Arctic Monkeys

The Grammy-nominated indie rock band Arctic Monkeys are setting to go on tour this fall around the same time their fifth studio album AM drops. It's the band's fifth studio album, and according to an interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe, frontman Alex Turner cited The Velvet Underground's VU as a direct influence. However, it's not just a straight rock 'n' roll album--Turner also calls out such disparate inspiration as Outkast, Aaliyah, and Black Sabbath.
