David Beckham was involved in a car accident when his Range Rover was hit by another vehicle near his Beverly Hills home, it emerged today.
The former England captain was behind the wheel – accompanied by 14-year-old son Brooklyn – when the collision happened.
According to reports, the 38-year-old pulled out of his driveway and was hit by an oncoming car driven by a woman on Friday.
Beckham and his son, who was in the front passenger seat, were unharmed.
The footballer, who relocated to Los Angeles following his high-profile move to LA Galaxy, reportedly reversed back into his driveway before police arrived.
He was reportedly quizzed about the incident which caused minor damage to both cars.
Pictures showed the front bumper was hanging off Beckham’s black Range Rover Sport, which is estimated to be worth up to $76,195.
It was the second time Beckham and his son had been involved in a car crash.
In 2011, the two had a “lucky escape” when their vehicle was involved in a multiple-car pile-up on one of the busiest roads in Los Angeles.
Both were wearing seat belts at the time and were unhurt in the rush hour collision.
