West Ham's young forward Ravel Morrison pushed Joel Ward in the face after Crystal Palace's win, but the matter is closed by the Football Association

Ravel Morrison will face no further action from the Football Association for pushing Joel Ward in the face, after West Ham 's defeat at Crystal Palace .

Morrison clashed with Ward after the final whistle, sparking a melee between both sets of players but will escape retrospective punishment.

Lee Mason, the referee, booked the England under-21 international after the incident and the FA insist the matter is now closed as it was dealt with at the time.

Morrison will miss West Ham's trip to Liverpool this weekend, however, as the caution was his fifth yellow card of the season.

West Ham have only won once in their last seven Premier League games and are three points adrift of the relegation zone.
