This season has been a rollercoaster battle for Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions, but the squad’s leader knows that nothing comes easy and it’s all about drive. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has been known to average over 200 passing yards a game, has thrown 27 touchdowns so far this season, and isn’t planning on slowing down no matter the challenges.

With an array of weapons including Calvin “Megatron” Johnson and Reggie Bush, every Sunday has the potential to be target practice for Stafford. His QB vision picks apart defenses one-by-one. To help us figure out the main ingredient to the young quarterback’s ability to throw over 200 yards a game, he shares with us his pregame playlist that gets him pumped before hitting the field.

The playlist wouldn’t be complete if Detroit native’s Kid Rock “Detroit, Michigan” and Eminem “Till I Collapse” weren’t in the mix. Stafford jams out to the two artists as motivation to put on for motor city. When he’s throwing for over 300-400 yard games, “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC, “Remember the Name” by Fort Minor, and “Roar” by Katy Perry are on rotation giving him the drive he needs to perform at a high level.

It won’t come as a surprise if Stafford pumps his go-to jams to help finish out the season. Check out the list below to listen to the entire playlist and catch Stafford and the Detroit Lions this Monday as they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
