Kid Cudi Tapped for New Indie Romantic Comedy
Universal Music Group/KidCudi.comAfter making his acting debut on the now-cancelled HBO series How to Make It in America, Kid Cudi will again exercise his acting skills in an upcoming indie romantic comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, titled Two Night Stand, is about two people who meet online and hook up for a one-night stand. Things get complicated, though, when the pair get snowed in the next morning and end up spending more time together than they'd planned.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Cudi plays the boyfriend of Gossip Girl actress Jessica Szohr in the film, which recently began shooting in New York. Szohr's character is roommates with the film's female lead, played by Analeigh Tipton.
In addition to Two Night Stand, Cudi just wrapped a part in Goodbye World, starring Entourage's Adrian Grenier.
