Facebook.com/JamieFoxxThis Christmas, Jamie Foxx will be hunting down the bad guys in Django Unchained.  But according to Variety, sources say the singer-slash-actor could be playing one of the bad guys in another movie project.

Sources tell Variety that Jamie is in early talks to play supervillain Electro in Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  And while nothing's set in stone, Jamie may have been hinting at something when he tweeted on Thursday, "Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well."

Just in case you're not familiar with Electro, he's the alter ego of comic character Max Dillon, who gains the ability to control electricity, following a freak accident. 

According to Variety, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to spring into theaters on May 2, 2014
