Dave Grohl Reunites with Queens of the Stone Age for Their Upcoming Album

Didier Messens/RedfernsFoo Fighters frontman/former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl is back with Queens of the Stone Age. During an interview with BBC Radio 1?s Zane Lowe on Tuesday, QOTSA frontman Josh Homme revealed that Grohl has once again taken his place behind the drum kit for the band?s upcoming album. You may remember that Grohl previously helped out the band ten years ago by playing drums on their 2002 album, Songs for the Deaf.
As further evidence that Grohl is part of QOTSA?s current recording sessions, the guys posted a photo on their Twitter account of a mixing board which features a fader labeled, ?Dave - Drums.?
A title and release date for the forthcoming album has yet to be announced.
