ABC/Donna SvennevikFlorence + the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch stopped the band?s performance at the Exhibition and Conference Centre in Aberdeen, Scotland on Sunday to comfort a fan after a scuffle occurred during the show.

While performing ?Shake It Out,? Welch noticed a number of fans shoving and fighting in the audience and immediately stopped playing to confront the situation. "Excuse me, all of you -- stop it," she told the crowd. Right after she diffused the situation, the singer spotted a female fan who was crying and pointed at her, asking, ?Is she going to be OK? Are you all right, my love?" Welch then jumped off the stage and hugged the upset girl, receiving cheers of approval from the crowd.

A fan-filmed clip of the incident and has been posted on YouTube.
