Kyrie Irving showed how good he really is during one of the biggest and most important games in basketball. The Cleveland Cavalier’s point guard was awarded MVP after scoring 31 points, 14 assists and playing with enough energy to rally the entire Eastern Conference, pulling them out of an 18-point deficit. Irving only missed three out of the 17 attempted shots, all of which were 3-pointers. During the second half, he scored 11 shots with seven assists, always keeping his competitive spirits high. Irving told ESPN he thinks “all the fans want to see us do is just compete to the highest level” and that’s what he did. Irving gave the fans exactly what they wanted. After this performance, Kyrie Irving is now ranked alongside other legendary b-ball stars. Irving is a player that stands out, and at just 21 years old he’s a star in his third season.
