Tim Mosenfelder/Getty ImagesLast year, vinyl album sales in the U.K. increased more than 15 percent with over 389,000 LPs sold, and it appears that The xx is responsible for helping rack up those impressive numbers.

Official Charts Company, which tracks music sales in Britain, has announced that The xx?s Coexist tops its list of the best-selling vinyl albums of 2012.  While Jack White?s debut solo album Blunderbuss may have been 2012's top selling vinyl album in the U.S., it comes in at #3 on the U.K. vinyl sales tally.

Other notables include Beach House at #7 with Bloom and Pink Floyd at #10 with the reissue of their 1979 classic The Wall.
