Samsung is speaking another language.
The company has added UVideos to its lineup of available apps on its Smart TVs, Internet-connected Blu-ray players and home theater systems.
UVideos is the bilingual digital video network produced by Univision Communications serving the Hispanic market. It will be the first Hispanic-focused entertainment app available on Samsung devices.
"By partnering with Samsung, the leading Smart TV manufacturer in the U.S., we are ensuring our viewers can enjoy the UVideos experience on their favorite connected devices," said Kevin Conroy, president, Univision Interactive and Enterprise Development. "This is another example of Univision delivering on our commitment to offer the best in Hispanic programming on the devices most important to them, whenever and wherever they want it."
UVideos provides access to Univision's daytime, primetime, entertainment, sports and news programming. UVideos on Samsung Smart TVs and connected devices also allows viewers to enjoy programming in both Spanish and English, while also adding a social stream feature that lets viewers interact with friends and Univision talent.
The UVideos application will be pre-installed in Samsung's personalized app section and also available in the S-Suggest store for Samsung WiFi tablets.
