It’s a wrap for Ricky Martin andEvita!

The last presentation of the show was this past Saturday. Ricky did not renew his contract and producers reportedly gave up at finding a decent replacement.

We had the opportunity of seeing Ricky in the musical this past week and we were floored with his presence, charisma, and overall magnetism!

The Puerto Rican superstar addressed the crowd after taking his last bows and said:

“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here tonight. This has been a marvelous experience and I am truly grateful for having worked with this talented group of actors and dancers. I want to take a moment to thank the countless people that you don’t get to see but that are very important to this show. I am talking about the people that work in sound, lighting, musicians, directors, costumes, makeup…they deserve a round of applause. I also want to thank those people that waited for us each night outside of the theater, it didn’t matter if it was 90 or 10 degrees, they were always there…thank you very much! Without your applause we are nothing!”

Bravo, Ricky, bravo!
