Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Yusuf, the artist formally known as Cat Stevens, made an appearance Tuesday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The singer didn’t sit down for a chat with the host, but he did perform a montage featuring two of his hits: "The First Cut Is the Deepest" and "Wild World."

When Fallon introduced Yusuf, he held up the artist’s 1970 hit album, Tea for the Tillerman.

Afterward, Yusuf tweeted a backstage photo of himself with Fallon, along with the caption, “Great to see @jimmyfallon again and be a part of @fallontonight.”

Fallon later tweeted that Yusuf stuck around after the show ended and performed his hit "The Wind" for the studio audience.

All week, Fallon's Tonight Show has been saluting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2014 by featuring some of the new honorees and one veteran Hall member who is performing at Thursday’s induction ceremony.

On Wednesday, surviving Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl will appear on the show, although it isn't clear whether they'll perform. Stevie Nicks is Wednesday’s scheduled musical guest. Nicks will be part of a musical tribute to new Rock Hall inductee Linda Ronstadt at Thursday's ceremony.  To close out Rock Hall-themed week, KISS will rock The Tonight Show's stage on Friday.
